Dive into the history of Blackhawk Lake and read about the fascinating backstory of how the lake was created, along with pictures and news clippings from 1972 when the park opened. Check out the office fish and color a picture at our coloring table! Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful taxidermy pieces from right here in Iowa County, many of them from Blackhawk Lake.
