The very first day of site booking is ALWAYS in person. Blackhawk Lake has been doing this for many many years as it seems to work best for our park and staff. 

• In-person reservation day is typically used for large groups that are booking multiple campsites during busy weekends. (This is not a requirement, but simply the best way we can accommodate these large groups.)

• The line is extremely long on reservation day. You will wait multiple hours before you are served. (Please keep this in mind. If you are not picky about sites, giving us a call the following week or waiting for online booking will probably work best for you!)

Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. 

All customers will need to take a number upon arrival, located  on the East side of the building. 

• You cannot take your number and leave the premises. ​

• One person from your party MUST stay in line, or in the parking lot/nature center area. 

• You may NOT pick a number for someone who is not present. 

Numbers will be processed in order, starting at 7:00am. 

• No skipping in line or trading numbers with someone else. (If you plan to make reservations with another party, make sure you arrive at the same time to get numbers next to each other.)​

Please make sure your reservations are ready and organized when you get to the front counter.
